Lactation Consultant Home Visits

We have three options available that fit a variety of needs. These consultations are done in the comfort of your own home with an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. We accept HSA, FSA, and private pay. Please reach out if you receive Medicaid or are a low income family needing assistance.

Our options include:

Prenatal/Pre-Adoption/Same Sex Couples Visit $125 per visit

These consultations are specifically for expecting parents. This visit is perfect for parents adopting, sex same couples both wanting to nurse, transgender parents who are expecting, mothers who have had past breast surgeries, parents expecting multiples, or parents wanting to have one-on-one support rather than a group breastfeeding class.

Initial Postpartum Visit $225 per visit for singleton ($250/twins and $300/triplets+)

These consultations are perfect for parents who just had a baby, have sore nipples, have a baby with slow weight gain, are concerned that their milk isn’t coming in, have difficulty latching baby, have stopped nursing but want to re-lactate, parents with multiples, or parents who want to ensure nursing will go well.

  • Assess feeding and latch
  • Discuss health, pregnancy, and postpartum history
  • Observe breasts and baby
  • IBCLC offers a scale to determine weight gain
  • Create a specialized plan for you
  • 2 weeks of follow up by email or text during daytime hours

Follow Up Postpartum Visit $175 per visit for singleton ($200/twins and $250/triplets+)

These consultations are specifically for parents who have already seen one of our IBCLCs for the initial postpartum visit. This visit is perfect for parents who are getting mastitis or clogged ducts, returning to work, have questions about pumping, or have babies with continued slow weight gain.
